Thank you so much for sticking with me through all the craziness. Just wanted to put that out there. You’re freaking amazing.
So many plans, so little energy or time! I’ve rewritten the list 4 times in the last day, and I think I finally whittled it down to something somewhat manageable. Maybe. You tell me:
Changes are a-coming. But what does it all mean, Basil?
Publications, Please!
You probably already know about my first publication on Medium, Monster Alley. Well, the list is growing:
Monster Alley—a writing community (to help writers help writers)
Monster Café—a fiction retreat (enjoy a cuppa and stay awhile)
The Secret Alley—erotica, sex, and secrets
AbuseRD—exposing and healing abusers and the abused
TAMetaphysiology—metaphysical topics
Hidden Egg—vulnerability and other things from the podcast
Whew! I’m running out of publication slots! One person can create seven pubs; and now I’ve got six. I deleted The Evergreen Directory, otherwise I would have maxed out completely!
So Now What?
The list above, with all its insanity and overwhelming charm, outlines what I hope to do with these publications—and if you’re a sharp eye, you might notice there’s a bit of code going on in the boxes, squiggles, dots, and dashes. Because some of those pubs have corresponding Substacks as well.
Long ago, I created Monster Alley on Substack to shift from the F2F articles into an improved writing community—and then 2023 happened. Covid, power outages, overprescribed Xanax, and other Universe shenanigans got in the way. And so it sat collecting dust.
Pretty much the same story for TAMetaphysiology and The Twin Flame Legend. More projects sitting around at the beginning stages, going nowhere.
But now it’s 2024. March. Spring, even— I mean, damn near. Close enough. Time to water some seeds, eh? I sure as hell planted enough of them, didn’t I? 🤷♀️
Turn That W Into An M?
Look at that list. It’s overwhelming AF, right? I keep trying to do things weekly because it keeps me fresh in the audience’s mind. But that’s a lot of work! I’ve changed some to monthly on that photo— and as I’m writing this, I’m thinking there’s at least one more that needs turned upside down.
This newsletter. The Accidental Journey, right here.
Once a month, I’ll send an update of how this wild journey is going—the pitfalls, the wins, all that jazz. That way I can focus on the other stuff so there’s something to say. Case in point—let’s review the last month’s activity, shall we?
Only Trusted Monsters have access to the rest of this article. The paywall will prompt you to pay (and you can if you really want to), but if you are interested in reading more, all you have to do is ask!
Send an email to theaccidentalmonster@yahoo.com, or through the Discord channel (or contact me however we typically communicate) and let me know who you are. It’s that simple!
